Tasks

Inside a template, on the Tasks tab, specific actions can be found to interact with tasks.

Delete

When selecting one or multiple tasks and or phases, via the checkboxes, you are able to delete them.
While deleting a phase, all it’s tasks and phase are deleted recursively.

Limitations / bugs

When you first select a phase and then the task containing it, it tries to delete the task, but fails because it was already deleted when phase was deleted.

Potential improvements

When a phase is selected, we could prevent all it’s child items from being selected.
This would prevent the task from previously selected phase from being selected.

Translate

When selecting one or multiple tasks and or phases, via the checkboxes, you are able to translate them.

You are then able to input translations for those tasks / phases.
If you leave a field blank, then corresponding translation will not be modified

Limitations / bugs

At the moment, only 3 languages are pre-determined, and the order is fixed.

Potential improvements

We could implement a configuration in the sidebar to allow user to specify the languages and order in his Ariba interface.
